Formats for emails
We can accept the copy for emails as a Word document or as an HTML document. Please do note however that occasionally we find that there is an incompatibility between transmission software and HTML documents, and because of this we do need HTML documents five days before the transmission date so that if there are any technical problems we can resolve them rapidly.
A sample of our standard format created from a Word document can be seen here.
Logos
Add your logo to the top of the email: £15. Logos must be supplied at same time as copy, in jpg or gif with the file appropriately named. Maximum size that can be accepted is 250x150 pixels. Please click here to see a sample of how the logo is used.
Once your email has been sent out you will receive a report showing the click through and open rates, and a chart showing how this compares with other emails sent out using this service.
Creating HTML files
We can create HTML emails for you from your text and pictures. A sample of our standard format can be seen here - you must supply the text as a Word document and the banner image as a jpg (700x190 pixels) in separate files.
The cost for creating an email in this way is £100 for an email of up to 400 words and one banner image.
Within the Word document the text should include the hyperlinks already embedded using the Word Insert Hyperlink function otherwise they will not be included. Please note that the base price of sending out the email includes the tracking of only one link, and that the tracking of further links will be charged extra.
If you would like us to create an html including more images, for each extra illustration the cost is £50 above our basic price of £100. You must supply a sketch showing where you wish the picture/s to be placed within the text – unless you wish us to decide.
It may be that for more complicated work a higher price will need to be charged. But we would always call you in advance to ensure that you are happy for us to proceed.
