The copy that you wish to send to these teachers will be reviewed by our editorial team if you request it and any comments and suggestions passed on to you. However there is no requirement that you fit in with our house style (as there is with the Education Management News service).

Personal email lists (secondary schools)

The total list. This involves emailing all the addresses we have on this list at a price of 10p per address. The total list contains all the emails from the A list and the B list (or in the case of the Deputy Head lists, the A, B and C list).

The A list and B lists are selections at random from the Total List, which enables you to try out your emailing without undertaking the full list mailing. The lists are kept separate so that you can (for example) email the A list one month and the B list the next month.

Lists that contain under 2000 email addresses are only available as a total list, and cannot be supplied in the A list and B list selection.

Because of the size of the Deputy Head list, this is now divided into three sections.

Free postal shared mailing campaign. If you undertake a single email campaign using any of the lists below, to the value of £375 or more, you can then participate in a shared postal mailing campaign for free at any time within the next three months. Regional selections are available from the total list, at a charge of 15p each, with a minimum charge of £100.

First time user discounts apply to the first use of the Personal lists in general, not to the first use of a specific list. School holiday discounts apply to emails that are transmitted during the school holidays including half term holidays.

Stand By rates apply to bookings made for term-time transmission without a specific date booked. They will be sent out in the first available slot during term time, with a guaranteed transmission within six weeks from the date of booking. Payment and text of the advertisement are required with order.

The lists are made up predominantly of personal email addresses. In a small number of cases where a school does not issue personal email addresses the address consists of the nominated school address with the teacher’s name in the subject line.

Terms and conditions for participating in a free postal shared mailing.

1: To qualify for a free postal shared mailing you must spent £375 or more excluding VAT on an email campaign involving one or more of the lists above with the invoice for the mailing paid by the due date.

2: The mailing will be to secondary schools on one of the dates nominated on http://www.shared.org.uk/FreeEmail.html as being a date within this scheme. Please note that not every shared mailing date advertised is offered within the scheme. Mailings have a limited space, and the offer is subject to availability of space. If a postal mailing is full, you will have the option of taking part in the next designated mailing.

3: The offer includes all mailing fees for a single leaflet weighing up to 15g but does not include the printing of the leaflet or the delivery of the leaflet to Hamilton House. The leaflet must be A5 or A4 size, or if larger, folded down to A4 size. Weight surcharges are payable for items weighing over 15g. The leaflets must be delivered to the Hamilton House offices by the designated date prior to the mailing.
